Systems Engineer - Microsoft Cloud Intune

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Cloud technologies, particularly Intune, to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing endpoint management solutions, ensuring secure and efficient delivery of applications, updates, and policies across our organization. This role demands strong technical acumen and hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory, and other Microsoft cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Microsoft Intune Management:
- Design, configure, and deploy Microsoft Intune for device and application management.
- Develop and manage mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) policies.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and security policies.
- Endpoint and Device Management:
- Configure and support Windows Autopilot, device provisioning, and lifecycle management.
- Manage macOS, iOS, Android, and Windows devices through Intune.
- Implement and troubleshoot endpoint security measures such as BitLocker and Conditional Access policies.
- Application Deployment:
- Package and deploy applications and updates to managed devices.
- Optimize app delivery processes and troubleshoot deployment issues.
- Azure and Cloud Integration:
- Integrate Intune with Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and other cloud services.
- Collaborate on projects involving Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and other cloud-based solutions.
- Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor device compliance, manage reporting dashboards, and analyze metrics.
- Address issues proactively to maintain service availability and performance.
- Documentation and Training:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Provide technical support and training to IT teams and end-users.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
- Expertise in device provisioning, MDM, MAM, and application lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Graph API, etc.).
- Strong understanding of security protocols, compliance, and Conditional Access policies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred:
- Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate or Azure certifications.
- Experience with other Microsoft cloud services like Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and on-premises integrations.
